27 August 2015 - The Philippine Institute of Language, Arts and Culture (PILAC) led by its founder, Emily Manansala Roberts, held a celebration of Buwan Ng Wika at the community hall of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles on August 19.

The 2015 Buwan Ng Wika theme: KAHAPON, NGAYON AT BUKAS (Yesterday, Today and The Future). The event included participation by the Filipino Cultural School led by its President, Paolo Roca, and performance by MAYPAGASA, a Filipino American rock band led by Mr. Zosimo Quiblan. END
