01 September 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Beirut continues to actively register and encourage Filipinos working in Lebanon to participate in the upcoming election in May 2016. A mobile overseas voters registration was conducted by the Embassy in Zalka last August 23 which garnered a total of 48 registrants.

Two more simultaneous events organized by the Filipino community in Lebanon were also supported and attended by the Embassy. Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz delivered her inspirational message to the members of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ, 4th Watch (PMCC4w) during a Spiritual Empowerment gathering held at the Ballroom 2 of the Commodore Hotel in Hamra, while Vice Consul Enrik Fort Revillas attended the Top Model Competition entitled “The Best Ever Grand Momz 2015” held at the Babel Theatre also in Hamra to deliver the message of the Ambassador and express the support of the Embassy to the Filipino communities in Lebanon.
