01 September 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver started to implement a queuing system for consular services provided at the Consulate General on August 04 to improve the flow of clients at the reception area and at the same time to provide more convenience for its clients.
With the new system, clients and guests need only to get a number and get seated while waiting for their turn to be called and assisted. Aside from the queuing system, large overhead monitors at the reception area provide useful information on the types of services offered, step-by-step procedures and requirements for passport application.
The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver has been receiving positive feedback from the Filipino-Canadian community since it transferred to its new and bigger office in Canada Place at the Waterfront last year. Philippine Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer said that the Consulate will continue to explore more ways to further improve the quality of services it delivers to overseas Filipinos. END
