10 September 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted two mobile overseas voters registration at the Port of Piraeus on September 01 and 08.
The first mobile overseas voters registration was conducted onboard the MS Island Princess on September 01 wherein 58 Filipino seafarers registered as overseas voters for the 2016 National Elections.
The second “AkyatBarko” was conducted onboard the MS Zuiderdam on September 08 wherein the Philippine Embassy processed 48 overseas voter registration applications.
The Embassy was able to perform this task with the kind cooperation of the Piraeus Port Authorities and the human resources offices and agents of the said vessels. END
