10 September 2015 - Philippine Ambassador to China Erlinda F. Basilio joined ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretary-General Yang Xiuping and ASEAN colleagues in Beijing in a recent visit to the Exhibition Centre of Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone (ZGC Exhibition Centre) and the Capital Museum’s Exhibition on the History and Culture of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The activity was aimed at marking ASEAN Day 2015 and at strengthening exchanges between the members of the Joint Executive Board of the ACC.

During Ambassador Basilio’s visit to the Zhongguancun Exhibition Centre, she offered the Embassy’s assistance in connecting some of the exhibitor-companies with prospective business partners in the Philippines. Covering an area of almost 59,000 square meters, the Exhibition Centre of the Zhongguancun National Demonstration Zone is designed for exhibitions and demonstrations; education and training; trade and negotiation; and conferences and forums.

The Capital Museum’s Exhibition on the History and Culture of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei displays more than 200 cultural relics including bronzeware, jade pieces, and pottery from the adjoining areas of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in northeastern China. END
