11 September- Syed Hassan Al-Attas, Imam and Head of the Ba’alwi Mosque in Singapore (5th from left) invited Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales (fourth from left) and other guests for dinner at his elegant home on September 08. The popular Imam Syed Hassan Al-Attas plays an active role in promoting inter-religious understanding in Singapore through the Inter-Religious Organization (IRO). Imam Syed Hassan Al-Attas was also a major driving force in facilitating IRO’s assistance to victims of Typhoon Haiyan that hit parts of central Philippines in 2013.
