11 September 2015 - The Philippine Consulate General in Milan conducted its first-ever consular outreach mission in the city of Reggio Emilia to provide services for the Filipino community in the Emilia Romagna Region.
The consular team, supervised by Vice Consul Helen Anne B. Sayo, processed a total of 99 services for passports, consular documents, and overseas voters registration. Partner agencies, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), PAG-IBIG and Social Security System (SSS) were also present to offer their services.
The province of Reggio Emilia , an agriculture based economy, is popular for its world-wide known Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and Lambrusco wine. END
