14 September 2015 – Philippine Consul General to Milan Marichu Mauro hosted a welcome dinner in honor of the visiting officials of the Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (CCPI) during their visit in Milan, led by its Chairman Dr. Benito Ricafort and Denissa Venturanza, CCPI Executive Director and publisher of Philippine Commerce, CCPI’s official magazine.
They were also joined by Dr. Nona Ricafort, Mr. Jose Maria Bartolome, Mrs. Tin Dimacali-Dimacali Bartolome, Mrs. Evelyn Revilla of Sodalis Bergamo and Italtrans Company, a logistics and transport company based in Bergamo, Mr. Domingo Borja of Sodalis Milan, Mrs. Lamie Lami and Mr. Stefano Lami.
CCPI met with Bergamo Chamber of Commerce and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Italy-South East Asia Chamber of Commerce, visited the Italian and European Union Pavilions of EXPO Milano, and awarded a certificate of recognition to Italtrans for its employment of Filipino workers in its company.
