10 September 2013 - A six-member  from the  Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco recently held an outreach mission in Bozeman, Montana from August 24 to 25 in cooperation with Filipino-American community leaders there headed by Ms. Daisy Slowik. She was joined by other Filipino-American community leaders and organizations coming from other parts of Montana such as Helena and Missoula.

The outreach mission conducted various consular services such as passport renewal, legalizations and notarials, civil registry, and dual citizenship services

Consul General Marciano Paynor, Jr. cites the spirit of volunteerism and the overall support the local community leaders extended in assuring the  successful realization of the outreach mission to Montana in the fulfillment of Consulate General’s advocacy to reach out to its constituents in as wide area as possible under its ten-state jurisdiction. According to the latest US Census statistics there are nearly 1,400 Filipinos / Filipino Americans in Montana. END
