10 September 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam congratulated Ms. Loisa Malijan Cabuhat for recently being awarded Realtor of the Year by the Guam Association of Realtors (GAR).  This esteemed recognition was given to Ms. Cabuhat for her outstanding services and contributions to the GAR over the past years, having served as the association's Secretary/Treasurer from 2010 to 2011 and as Chairperson for the Workforce Housing Committee in 2012.  Previous to these, she served as GAR's Community Affairs Committee Chairperson (2008-2009), spearheading programs such as Aiding the Homeless, Adopt-a-Family, Adopt-a-School and Canned Food Drive.  At present, she continues to serve the organization as its Secretary.

Ms. Cabuhat's passion for excellence was already evident even when she was just starting her career, as she received the Outstanding Newcomer Award in 2008 and was named Top Producer for three (3) consecutive years at Coral Sea Realty.  In 2010 and 2011, she also received the prestigious 11th and 12th Ginefli'e l Tano Outstanding REALTOR® Award.

Aside from being an exceptional realtor, Ms. Cabuhat is likewise an outstanding community leader, involving herself in various civic organizations, foremost of which is the Filipino Ladies Association of Guam (FLAG) where she is currently serving as President.  Her other civic involvement includes membership in the Guam Harmony Lions Club, Guam Council of Women's Club, Miss World Guam and the Filipino American Presidents' Club of Guam.
