28 September 2015 - In celebration of the Inauguration and Blessing of the Embassy’s new chancery at Jalan Imam Bonjol in Jakarta’s historic Menteng District, the Philippine Embassy mounted a photo exhibit entitled “Mabuhay! Merdeka!: Snapshots of Philippines-Indonesia Friendship” from September 12 to 16 at the Chancery’s Multi-Purpose Hall.
The exhibit featured photographs of significant events covering 65 years of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Indonesia. Photographs included state visits and interactions between leaders, cultural exchanges, humanitarian assistance, among others.
The exhibit was viewed by guests from the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, including Undersecretary for Administration Linglingay Lacanlale, Assistant Secretary for Fiscal Management Services Crescente Relacion, Chief Coordinator of the Office of the Secretary Ma. Theresa Dizon De Vega, with Surabaya Honorary Consul Eddy Surohadi and members of the Filipino Community in Indonesia. END
