14 October 2015 – As part of the Philippine Embassy’s campaign to reach out to Filipinos throughout Indonesia, a team composed of Second Secretary and Consul Jed Llona and Attaché Rina Ann Ibayan conducted consular outreach and mobile overseas voters (OV) registration at the PT Sritex Office in Solo on October 10 and at the Singapore International School in Semarang on October 11. The Embassy team was assisted by Solo Filipino community leader Susan Abaya and Semarang Filipino community leader Mitzi Daclan.

Since the start of OV registration in May 2014, the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta has conducted mobile OV registrations in Surabaya, Bandung, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bali, Batam, Medan and various schools, companies, and churches in Jakarta. Upcoming registrations are scheduled in Bali on October 17, and in Batam from October 24 to 25. END
