15 October 2015 - The Philippine Consulate General in Milan conducted a mobile overseas voters (OV) registration on October 11 at the Basilica di Santo Stefano Maggiore in Milan.

The parish hosts the Filipino Community of Santo Stefano supervised by Filipino chaplain, Father Enrico Crisostomo.

The OV registration team registered 52 new voters. The Filipino community leaders, with Father Crisostomo, conveyed their continued support in encouraging more community members to register so they can exercise their right to vote in the 2016 national elections.

The Consulate General in Milan is scheduled to conduct more mobile registrations in other places in Milan and Northern Italy for the remaining weekends leading up to the October 31 deadline for overseas voting registration. END
