Ambassador Yparraguirre conveyed that anti-corruption is a very important facet of the Aquino administration which runs on a program of anti-corruption equating it with anti- poverty, adding that good governance is good economics. This has resulted in concrete success for the Philippines which is now the fastest growing economy in Asia.
