21 October 2015 - Philippine Ambassador to Poland Patricia Ann V. Paez and Principal Assistant for Economic Diplomacy Attache Evelyn Vega met on October 01 with officials of Qatar Airways (QA), specifically with QA’s Country Manager In Poland Mr. Grzegorz Karolewski and Account Manager Krzystof Steiman and finalized a joint project for the promotion of Philippine tourism to Polish tour operators/travel agents this November.

According to Mr. Steiman, around 50 tour operators/travel agents are interested in being briefed about the Philippines and its tourist attractions.

Mr. Steiman, who joined the first ever Familiarization Tour to the Philippines by the Polish Chamber of Tourism in March 2014 will also give a “testimonial: about his experience in the Philippines and show his photos.

Mr. Karolewski reaffirmed QA’s willingness to partner with the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw to promote Philippine tourism in Poland and expressed his strong interest in visiting the Philippines. END
