21 October 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to Argentina Ma. Amelita C. Aquino presented her credentials as the Philippines’ non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Paraguay to President Horacio Cartes on October 14.

During the brief but solemn ceremony, Ambassador Aquino conveyed the cordial greetings of President Benigno S. Aquino III to President Cartes and affirmed her commitment to further enhance relations between Paraguay and the Philippines.

On October 13, Ambassador Aquino presented a copy of the letter of credence to Paraguay Foreign Minister Eladio Loizaga and had a brief dialogue with him about the bilateral relations of Philippines and Paraguay, as well as possible areas of cooperation. END
