21 October 2015 – As part of the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta’s campaign to reach out to Filipinos throughout Indonesia, a team composed of Ambassador Maria Lumen Isleta, Second Secretary and Consul Jed Llona, and Mr. Ricardo Bantolo conducted consular outreach and mobile overseas voters registration at the Lollypop School in Bali on October 17. The Embassy team was assisted by Bali Filipino community leaders Patrick Asistio, Grace Tarjoto and Nerissa Garrido.

Since the start of overseas voters registration in May 2014, the Embassy has conducted mobile voters registration in Surabaya, Bandung, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bali, Batam, Medan, Solo, Semarang and various schools, companies, and churches in Jakarta. An upcoming mobile registration is scheduled in Batam from October 24 to 25. END
