22 October 2015 - Multi-awarded Philippine actor John Arcilla, who played the leading role in the highly-acclaimed motion picture “Heneral Luna”, called on Philippine Ambassador to Austria Maria Zeneida Angara-Collinson at the Philippine Embassy on October 20.

Mr. Arcilla is currently on a swing of performances for the Filipino communities in Europe. His latest stint was holding  benefit concert at the Mariahilferkirche in Vienna on October 21.

Ambassador Angara-Collinson congratulated Mr. Arcilla on the success of “Heneral Luna” and on the positive impact it created not only on the Filipino film industry but on Filipino moviegoers. The prospect of a screening of the film in Vienna was likewise discussed.

After the meeting, Mr. Arcilla took time to have a photo opportunity with Ambassador Angara Collinson and the officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy. END
