27 October 2015 - The Philippine Department of Agriculture, under the ASEAN Roadshow Project, participated in the 30th Trade Expo Indonesia 2015 which opened on October 21 at the Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Jakarta.
Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Maria Lumen B. Isleta attended the opening of the Expo and visited the Philippine booth.
Filipino brands that are being promoted in the Expo are Dory's Lambanog-various flavors; Urban Island drinks-mojito and mango; Nagano's mushroom tempura-various flavors; La Carlota process products; Gustazo sardines-various flavors; Greenlife VCO-various sizes and lines; COP pili nuts-various flavors and packaging; Magic Melt-various lines; Orich dried mangoes; and Ilocos chichacorn-various flavors.
The Trade Expo Indonesia 2015 is considered as the largest international trade in Indonesia and showcases a range of export products like automotive components and parts, building materials, cosmetics, glassware, metal products, pharmaceuticals, sporting goods, stationary, textile-based products, and other innovative products. The event also features new business-support facilities and services designed to serve buyers, business executives, and trade representatives in exploring business opportunities in Indonesia. The Trade Expo Indonesia 2015 will run for five days. END
