26 October 2015 – In line with on-going efforts to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations, Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance of Lebanon Ali Hassan Khalil on October 11.

Ambassador Ruiz briefed the Minister on the Embassy initiatives to increase political, economic and socio-cultural linkages as well as cultural projects being undertaken with Lebanese educational institutions to enhance mutual understanding and appreciation between the two peoples.

She also conveyed the Philippines’ best wishes for its host country. END
