02 November 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to The Netherlands Jaime Victor B. Ledda, met with Filipino engineers at a “Meet and Greet” event co-organized by with Ms. Sylvia delos Reyes, International Recruitment Consultant of the JVR International, on October 09 in The Hague.

Ambassador Ledda commended the Filipino engineers for their significant contribution in enhancing the image of the Philippines. He noted the growing presence of engineers and other Filipino professionals in the Netherlands attesting to high preference and appreciation for highly skilled Filipino professionals.

He thanked the Filipino engineers and their families for attending the event and giving him an opportunity to meet and personally interact with them as well as discuss prospects for Filipino engineers and related professionals in the Dutch oil, gas and construction industries.

Ambassador Ledda also encouraged those who have not yet registered as overseas voters to register at the Philippine Embassy until October 31 and to participate in the national elections scheduled in May 2016.

Around 30 Filipino engineers participated in the event. END
