13 September 2013 - The Philippine Embassy awarded the winners of the Filipino Community Sportsfest 2013 during the Pistahan sa Vientiane: Buwan ng WIkang Pambansa held at the Embassy grounds on August 31.
The Filipino Community Sportsfest was held from June 15 to 23 in commemoration of the 115th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence.
The Sportsfest featured competitions in basketball, volleyball, badminton, bowling and chess. The Sportsfest afforded the members of the Filipino community a chance to have fun and forge camaraderie. END
