10 November 2015 - The Filipino Overseas Workers Singapore (FOWS) graduated some 560 students from its skills training program (STP) at the Qian Xi Restaurant in Tanjong Katong, Singapore on November 08. The successful students trained for different courses under FOWS STP for six months before earning their certificates. Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales was joined by officials and representatives of the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in congratulating the successful candidates. FOWS, which was established in 2002 and currently headed by its president, Rose Canonizado, is one of the pioneering STP providers in Singapore for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). In recent years, other nationalities, including those from Myanmar, Indonesia and India have also enrolled in its program. END
