16 November 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria conducted a consular mission in Luanda, Angola from October 30 to November 01 to serve the Filipinos residing and working there.

An Embassy team led by Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Joseph Gerard B. Angeles was assisted by the office of the Philippine Honorary Consul General in Luanda headed by Consul General Etienne Brechet. The Embassy team was able to process a total of 56 e-Passport renewal services and two registrations of reports of birth. 

During the consular mission, Ambassador Angeles was given the chance to address members of the Filipino community and reminded them to continue to excel in their chosen fields of expertise. He then stated the crucial role of overseas Filipino voters and emphasized to them to exercise their right of suffrage in the 2016 national elections. The Embassy team concluded the final day of registration of voters by processing a total of 68 overseas voters’ application. END
