16 September 2013 – Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia attended the Science Diplomatic Meeting organized by the Thai Ministry of Science and Technology.

The event was held in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. One highlight of the activity was the visit to the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) on its main facility, the Thailand National Observatory (TNO) on Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand. END
