24 November 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles hosted a welcome reception on November 19 in honor of the second batch of the Philippine National Police (PNP) participants of the Public Safety Officers Senior Executive Course (PSOSEC) Class 2015-93. The PNP-PSOSEC Class is headed by Police Chief Superintendent Jay Cumigad. Their counterparts from the Los Angeles Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also attended the reception.

The PPSC-OSEC participants numbering 34 are in Los Angeles for a training program to enhance their competence level for higher command positions in provincial, regional and national levels in the Philippine National Police.

This partnership between the PNP and the FBI is on its 10th year, resulting in a deeper law-enforcement cooperation between the Philippines and the U.S. END
