25 November 2015 - Consul Rea Oreta led a team from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles in conducting a consular outreach program in Houston, TX from November 07 to 08.

The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with Philippine Honorary Consul in Texas Ethel Mercado and the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACC Texas) under the leadership of State President Atty. Gary Ilagan and Regional Chair Tess Tuazon.

A total of 769 consular services were rendered during the two-day consular outreach program, breakdown of which is as follows:

Consul Oreta was accompanied by Misses Auhrea Bahjin and Messrs. Cesar Angeles, Benjamin Ascue, Miguel Belen, Amor Ibanez, and Mindaradat Mamad.

The Consular Outreach Program (COP) is a regular activity of the Consulate to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. END
