25 November 2015 - Philippine pearls, piña and puto were a smash hit during the Asian Diplomats’ Spouses Association (ADSA) Bazaar at the Conrad Hotel in Cairo held lat November 14.

Mrs. Suzy Shoukry, wife of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, served as the event’s guest of honor. The event also featured cultural performances by several Asian embassies, as well as a raffle draw.

The Philippine Embassy in Cairo collaborated with members of the local Filipino community to bring Philippine food, fashion and décor for the Bazaar’s mostly foreign audience.

The Asian Diplomats’ Spouses Association in Cairo, which joins 24 Asia-Pacific embassies in Cairo, holds its Bazaar annually in aid of Egyptian charities. END
