18 September 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, in cooperation with various Filipino community groups, organized the following health promotion activities on September 15:
(1) A Briefing for Filipino Community leaders on the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth). PhilHealth Board Member Jane Sta. Ana and Vice President Gregorio Rulloda were the resource speakers.
(2) A PhilHealth Information Desk was set up at the Consulate. This will continue to be open until September 22.
(3) PhilHealth joined the Kababayan Karavan at the Amungan Festival at Chater Garden. On September 22, a PhilHealth Information Booth will be set up at Charter Road during the Smart PLDT 9th Anniversary Celebration.
(4) In the afternoon, a Talk on Diabetes was given by Nursing Professor Anne Shiu for the benefit of Filipino workers. END
