03 December 2015 – Dr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan, Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture, received Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Maria Lumen B. Isleta last November 16 to discuss Philippines-Indonesia cooperation in the areas of education and culture.

The meeting discussed possible tangible programs in the implementation of signed MOUs on education between the Philippines and Indonesia. The two sides also agreed to intensify cultural cooperation and to develop programs to enhance people-to-people relations.

Present during the call were Dr. Suharti, Head of the Bureau of Planning and International Cooperation and Mr. Nadjamuddin Ramly, Head of Cultural and Heritage Unit of the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Embassy’s Vice Consul Analyn D. Ratonel.  END
