LA  festival of arts and culture

18 September 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General participated in the 22nd Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture (FPAC) held at Point Fermin Park, San Pedro, California from September 07 to 08.

The 22nd FPAC is organized by the Filipino-American Arts and Culture (Fil-Am Arts) and is considered Southern California’s largest and longest-running Filipino cultural celebration and exhibit featuring Philippine visual and performing arts, books, culture, Filipino-American heritage and organizations.

The FPAC annually engages 400 volunteers and over 100 community organizations to present about 500 artists to an audience of 20,000 with a global reach of 9.7 million impressions worldwide.  FPAC’s theme for 2013 is “Pag-ugnay, Paglago, at Pagbabago” celebrating interconnectedness, prosperity, and renewal and highlighting achievements that move the Filipino community forward.
