17 December 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta conducted a Seminar Workshop on Magna Carta of Women (MCW) and other Gender and Development (GAD) issues for the Embassy personnel and attached agencies on December 13.

The aim of the Workshop is to familiarize the personnel on pertinent provisions of the MCW. Consul and Second Secretary Jed Martin A. Llona, GAD Focal Point of the Embassy conducted the lecture and facilitated the brain-storming session.  Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Maria Lumen B. Isleta provided relevant inputs on GAD and the MCW, while  representatives from attached agencies shared the programs and practices in their respectively offices. The inputs gathered during the brain-storming session contributed to the formulation of upcoming GAD projects of the Embassy. END
