05 January 2016 - More than 4,000 Filipinos gathered at Chater Garden on the evening of December 24, 2015 to attend the Misa De Aguinaldo. Thousands more heard Christmas Mass over the radio as “Pinoy Tayo Sanman” AM Radio Program 1044 aired the event live.

The Chaplaincy for Filipinos in Hong Kong, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR, organized the annual affair.

Fr. Alfredo Rullon presided the concelebrated mass with Fr. Jay Francis Flandez and Fr. Helmuth Peter. Fr. Rullon delivered a well-received, inspiring, and entertaining homily. He encouraged the people to always thank, adore, and glorify the Lord. He reminded the audience that the true spirit of Christmas is still best expressed through simple gestures of love and care for our brothers and sisters; not solely through material gifts.
