06 January 2016 - In a show of solidarity in celebrating Christmas 2015, the Philippine Embassy led by Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales, joined the Catholic faithful in the traditional “Simbang Gabi” in Singapore.

The nine-day Eucharistic celebrations held in Roman Catholic churches all over Singapore drew in crowds including a huge number from the Filipino community in the city-state.

Simbang Gabi in Singapore once again showed that the spirit of Christmas is very much at home in the hearts of Filipinos no matter their physical distance from the Philippines. END
