07 January 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in Macau commemorated the 119th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of our National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal on December 30, 2015 by offering a bouquet of flowers to the bust of Dr. Jose P. Rizal situated in the reception area of the Consulate General.
Vice Consul Ira Micheline R. Valdez, Acting Head of Post at that time, relayed an inspiring message to the staff of the Consulate in relation with the life of our national hero. Cultural Officer Jocelyn A. Bianzon-Carbonell read a portion of Rizal's diary about his travel to Hong Kong and stopover to Macau.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. END
