12 January 2016 – Two Filipino movies, Heneral Luna and Red Shoes, were shown in Macau from December 26 to 28, 2015. The movies were screened during the holiday season as a gift to the members of the Filipino community who were unable to head to the Philippines for Christmas and New Year.

Heneral Luna was screened in Cinematheque Passion and Teatro Clemenita Leitao Ho Brito on Decmeber 26 and 27. Red Shoes was shown in Cinematheque Passion on December 27 and 28.

The movies were well-received by viewers from the Filipino community as well as the local and expat communities. The movies were also shown as part of the Philippine Consulate General’s Cultural Diplomacy program. END
