19 January 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi participated in the ASEAN-New Delhi Committee (ANDC) meeting and Handing Over Ceremony of ANDC Chairmanship from Malaysia to Myanmar on January 14 hosted by the High Commission of Malaysia.

The ANDC meeting highlighted ASEAN accomplishments during Malaysia's Chairmanship, including the Lecture of Senior Associate Justice Antonio T. Carpio in August 2015 on the South China Sea/West Philippine issue. Upcoming activities under Myanmar's chairmanship were also discussed. Ambassador Daza raised the promotion of the ASEAN Community and ASEAN awareness activities.

The ANDC is the ASEAN Committee in Third Countries that promotes ASEAN-India relations as well as ensures a better understanding of ASEAN in India. ANDC is comprised of 10 ASEAN Heads of Missions accredited to India. END
