25 January 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar has announced the winner of the logo-making contest for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-Myanmar bilateral relations. The logo features the flags of the Philippines and Myanmar, bound together, highlighting the two countries’ warm relations.
The creator of the winning logo, Mr. Mandrake Palabay, has been working in Myanmar for 11 years as an engineer.
In 1956, the Philippines and Myanmar formally established bilateral relations, 8 years after Myanmar’s Declaration of Independence. END
