04 February 2016 – The Philippine Consulate General in Milan met with various chambers of commerce under its jurisdiction to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation between the Philippines and Italy. Representatives from the Milan Chamber of Commerce – PROMOS, ASSOLOMBARDA, CONFINDUSTRIA and AICE were present at the meeting, led by Commercial Counselor Althea Antonio of PTIC Berlin.

Vice Consul Flaureen Dacanay welcomed the participants to the meeting at Palazzo Giureconsulti.

Ms. Antonio showed the Philippines as a ready market, a global investment destination, and a rising star in Asia that continues to gain competitiveness.

A business road show for Northern Italian and Filipino businesses is scheduled on April 2016. END
