09 February 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 15,637 consular services in January 2016:

Passport Services

 For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 4,959 ePassport applications, as follows: 4,727 passport renewal applications; 152 new passport applications and 80 replacement of lost passport applications. 

The Embassy also processed 74 passport validity extensions and 44 Travel Documents.

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

In January 2016, the Embassy conducted three (3) consular mobile missions, two (2) of which were in Al Khobar from January 08 to 09 and from January 29 to 30 and another in Al Khafji from January 15 to 16.

Visa Services

A total of 334 visas were issued by the Embassy in January 2016, all of which are Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A).

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 253 civil registry documents in January 2016, as follows: 53 Reports of Marriage; 155 Reports of Birth; 42 Reports of Death; 1 Report of Fetal Death; and, 3 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048.

Notarial and Authentication Services

In January 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,751 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,692 notarials and 59 authentications.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, it has conducted a client feedback survey to 3,969 clients, of which 2,502 or 67.69% responded as follows:
