15 February 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Singapore, represented by Consul General Victorio Mario M. Dimagiba, Jr., was invited as guest of honor to a panel discussion organized by the Yale-National University of Singapore College on February 01.

In his opening remarks, Consul General Dimagiba stressed the importance of activities like Migrant Workers Awareness Week (MWAW) in recognizing and celebrating the contribution of migrant workers in Singapore.

During the panel discussion, Consul General Dimagiba discussed the efforts of the Philippine Embassy in ensuring that the rights and privileges of Filipino migrant workers are protected and preserved in Singapore. He also underscored the value of constant engagement between the Philippine Embassy, Singapore Government, NGOs and civil society groups. END
