29 February 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Athens reported that it conducted a consular outreach in Nicosia, Cyprus from February 20 to 21. This is the Embassy’s first consular outreach in Cyprus for the year 2016.

The six-member consular team, headed by Minister and Consul General Rosario P. Lemque, also included a representative of the Pag-IBIG office in Athens. The consular team processed a total of 450 passport applications (including six lost passports) and other miscellaneous services. Pag-IBIG membership applications were also processed.

The consular outreach was held in cooperation with the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Nicosia and the Filipino community in Cyprus. END
