1 March 2016 – Philippine Ambassador to India Ma. Teresita C. Daza receives Rear Admiral Joseph S. Mercado AFP, Flag officer in Command, Philippine Navy; Captain Carlo V. Lagasca PN (GSC), Director of the Office of Naval and Strategy; and Capt. Sean Anthony U. Villa, Defense and Armed Forces Attaché to India to lead the Philippine delegation in the International Fleet Review (IFR) held from February 04 to 08 in Visakhapatnam, India.

Also present in the IFR is Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendran Modi with other delegates from 52 countries including Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, China, France, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and Viet Nam during the International Fleet Review (IFR) Visakhapatnam, India.
