08 March 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Lebanon continues to actively encourage Filipinos working in Lebanon to participate in the upcoming national election by conducting an outreach mission in St. Francis Church, Hamra last March 6, to distribute the COMELEC Voter IDs.

A total of 333 COMELEC Voter IDs were released by the Embassy.

The Embassy has also scheduled the next outreach for the distribution of COMELEC Voter IDs on the following dates:

  • March 13, at St. Francis Church, Hamra;
  • March 20, at St. Joseph Church, Tabaris; and
  • March 27, at St. Francis Church, Hamra.

Vice Consul Enrik Fort Revillas spoke on Overseas Voting after the 12:00 noon Mass at the St. Francis Church. The Embassy reminded the Filipinos attended to at the outreach mission to vote during the upcoming overseas voting on April 9 to May 9 and to disseminate the information to their fellow kababayans.
