A total of 160 services were given to Filipinos living in Trieste and the surrounding areas, including those living in nearby Slovenia, whose Koper City lies just near the border a mere 11 kilometers away.

Ninety-eight (98) passports were processed during the day and 61 consular documents were processed and released. Philippine Consul General to Milan Marichu Mauro also conducted an oath of allegiance to a dual-citizen candidate.

The Consulate also conducted an election awareness campaign by giving out copies of the announcement on the adoption of the Automated Election System and Message of Encouragement to vote by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary Rafael E. Seguis. END
