15 March 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Rome attended the launching of the new flights of Emirates to Cebu and Clark. The launch was made by Ms. Rosamaria Lombardi, Sales Executive of Emirates and City Travel, a wholly-owned Filipino travel agency in Rome.

Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco welcomed the launch of the circular flight to Dubai-Cebu-Clark from Rome as it provides opportunities to increase tourism and boost trade between the Philippines and Italy.

Cebu serves as a gateway to some of the Philippines scenic destinations in the Visayas and Mindanao. Clark, on the other hand, is a good base for those who wish to visit Northern Luzon.

Ambassador Nolasco thanked Emirates for coming up with these new flights to Cebu and Clark as they will augment the flight options available to overseas Filipinos in Italy.

Emirates will start the daily circular flight from Dubai to Cebu and Clark effective March 30. END
