18 March 2016 - Filipinos residing and working in the towns of Foligno and Assisi availed of consular services provided by the Philippine Embassy in Rome in Perugia, Umbria on March 13. The six-member consular team was able to process seventy-three (73) passports, four (4) reports of birth, and twenty-five (25) notarials and one (1) dual citizenship application. Vice Consul Margret Malang also administered the Oath of Allegiance for Dual Citizenship Reacquisition of five former Filipinos.
The Philippine Labor Office and SSS likewise joined the outreach and serviced around 106 Filipinos, including the processing of 67 Overseas Workers Welfare Association (OWWA) membership, 15 BM online registration, and 6 appointments for Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) at the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
