18 March 2016 - Eleven (11) schools from the Philippines participated in the World Education Expo Festival 2016 held from February 20 to 21 at Balai Kartini in Jakarta, Indonesia.  The education fair was attended by over 100 universities, vocational training, colleges, polytechnics, and academic institutions from around the world.

Prior to the education fair, the Embassy, through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC), in partnership with the Philippine Business Club in Indonesia (PBCI), organized a Business Forum/Briefing on the Outlook of the Education Industry in Indonesia for the Philippine delegation members on February 19.

The forum discussed topics such as the legal aspects of doing business in Indonesia, business opportunities in Indonesia and the AEC and a comprehensive discussion on the education landscape in Indonesia, marketing strategies, dealing with consultants and other institutional forms of cooperation.  A lunch was hosted by Ambassador Isleta during the business forum.
