01 April 2016 - Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin attended the ceremonial ground-breaking of the Kaua’i Philippine Cultural Center (KPCC) at the County of Kaua’i, Hawaii on March 29. Present during the ceremony were State of Hawaii Governor David Ige, State Senate President Ron Kouchi, County of Kaua’i Mayor Bernard Carvalho, Jr., US House of Representative Tulsi Gabbard, and State House Representative Jimmy Tokioka, among others.
In her remarks, Consul General Jamoralin reiterated the importance of camaraderie, perseverance and hard work for attaining successful objectives for the benefit of all specially to the Filipino-American community in Kaua’i.
After the ceremony, Consul General Jamoralin informed the Filipino community with regards to the upcoming Philippine overseas absentee voting. END
