07 April 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Beirut attended the Search for Miss and Mrs. AIM Global OFW 2016 held on April 03 at the Auditorium of St. Francis Church, Hamra.

Vice Consul Enrik Fort Revillas conveyed the message of Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz to the AIM Global VIP Team, urging the group to continue to support and collaborate with the Embassy in promoting the Philippines and advancing the interests and welfare of the Filipino community in Lebanon. He also reminded all registered Filipino overseas voters in Lebanon to participate in the forthcoming 2016 Philippine National Elections during overseas voting from April 09 to May 09.

The Embassy distributed flyers at the entrance of the Auditorium containing the schedule of Overseas Voting and Field OV in Lebanon. The registered voters were reminded to check their names on the COMELEC List of Voters (CLOV) posted in the Embassy Website and Facebook page before going out to vote, and to bring a copy of the data page of their Philippine passport, or iqama, or COMELEC Voter’s ID, or any current and valid Philippine Government picture ID.
